Homeless Emergency Project Receives 4-Star Raring
For the third consecutive year, Homeless Emergency Project (HEP), Clearwater, has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that compared to other charities in America, HEP excels in successfully managing the finances of the organization in an efficient and effective manner. The consistency in HEPís rating is an exceptional feat, especially given the economic challenges many charities have had to face in the last year.
The Homeless Emergency Project is one of the oldest and largest providers of emergency housing and support services in Tampa Bay. For over forty years, HEP has been providing homeless children, adults, and low-income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing, and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. HEP is dedicated year round to helping people help themselves.
