LIADO – The Italian-American Women of Today 2009 Scholarship ProgramLIADO, The Italian-American Women of Today, is pleased to nnounce its 2009 scholarship program. Each year LIADO awards $1000 scholarships to full time students of Italian or Italian-American descent graduating from any accredited high school, continuing students in good standing at an accredited college and for those returning to college seeking a degree. Founded in 1993 LIADO, The Italian-American Women of Today, is the only all Italian-American women's non-profit organization in the state of Florida. It is LIADO'S objective to assist students in achieving their goals of higher education. Over the years LIADO has proudly awarded $53,000 in scholarships to deserving students through the LIADO Scholarship Program.
