The dogs mostly come from puppy mills, animal shelters, and owner surrenders. Each dog is evaluated and cared for by a Veterinarian and lives with a volunteer foster family who socialize and further evaluate the dog. The average stay with Coastal Poodle Rescue is 51 days although some stay longer, and some are unadoptable and remain in the rescue’s care for the duration of their life. To view current poodles available for adoption or to make a donation, visit www.coastalpoodlerescue.org. To adopt from Coast Poodle Rescue an application must be completed and a home visit is required prior to placement. Coastal Poodle Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer, and run solely by charitable donations which is put to direct use for the good of the dogs.
