Members of the Berkeley Plantation Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century, recently met for lunch at Stacey's Buffet in Largo. Standing by the display of books and colonial items brought in for the meeting are (from left) Jane Turner, veterans committe chair; Virginia Nicholson, recording secretary; Mary Kitchen, vice president; Julia Noah, president; and Bette Raup, registrar. Women who are descendants of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701 in one of the original colonies are invited to join the group, which meets four times a year (the second Friday of January, March, May and November). Call 531-2100 for further information.
