Clearwater is a beat behind LargoEvery year we spend six months in this delightful area and we depend on the quarterly Clearwater Parks and Recreation booklet of events and activities. Why is it consistently a month late to the public? A new booklet for January, February and March was due out January 1 but was not yet available as of early last week. As you can see, it’s too late to sign up for any classes we might have been interested in which started in January. We are wondering why is it so hard to get it published on time? We have also enjoyed various programs in Largo over the years and would like to commend that city’s recreation department. Their recreation booklet was available to the public BEFORE January 1. And Largo offers far more classes and activities for senior citizens! Meaning they have much more information to compile. Thank you for this opportunity to vent. Mrs. S. Walker
