Rolex Miami Olympic Class Regatta/US Sailing Team QualifierClearwater Yacht Club sailors, Emily Billing, Brad Funk, Paige Railey and Zach Railey competed in the Rolex Miami Olympic Class Regatta on Biscayne Bay. Four Hundred and Forty Four athletes from 41 countries competed in this event. Brad Funk, the top US sailor in the Laser Full Rigs, placed third. Zach Railey, the top Finn Class US sailor placed third. Paige Railey placed second in the Laser Radial and Emily Billing sixth. They are the second and third Laser Radial US sailors respectively. US Sailing used this event as the sole qualifier to select the top 3 US sailors from each of the Olympic classes for the 2009 US Sailing Team. All four of the Clearwater Yacht Club Sailors have been named to the US Sailing Team.
