Laser Midwinter's East Regatta AnnouncedThe Clearwater Yacht Club will host the Laser Midwinters East, February 18th through the 22nd. This is an International Sailing Federation Grade 1 event. One hundred and fifty athletes from 15 countries will be racing in this event in the Gulf of Mexico off shore of Clearwater Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach. America's Cup Hall of Fame and Clearwater Yacht Club member, Stephen Van Dyke and Yoram Sharett of Israel will be members of the International Jury. The athletes to watch in this event are Olympic golf medalist, Anna Tunnicliffe, and from the Clearwater Yacht Club, Paige Railey and Emily Billing.
