Island Estates Woman’s Club Holds Luncheon Meeting

The Island Estates Woman’s Club held their February meeting at Alfanos with a very special presentation by William Dean Brown, Chief Chocolate Officer of William Dean Chocolates, located on Indian Rocks Road. Bill has been featured on The View and he won the best chocolate competition in New York City recently. Inspired by his mother and father, Bill left the corporate world to create his own business of hand-painted miniature works of art in chocolate. All the ladies had a chance to sample the delicious pieces filled with lavender, lemon caramel and other unusual flavors personally created and decorated by Bill and his associate, Wyatt Rachel. “Spring into Green” will be he next event for the IEWC at the Belleair Country Club on March 17. This luncheon is open to the public and will be a sell-out. It is the annual fundraiser and fashion show to benefit the scholarship program of the IEWC. Call Erma Ferguson, (727) 442-1622.
