Marine Corps League Honors WWII Marines
On February 21, members of the Morris F. Dixon, Jr. Detachment of the Marine Corps League in Clearwater honored 19 WWII-era Marines from the Tampa Bay area who served in the Pacific during the war. The ceremony, held at the Armed Forces Military Museum in Largo, recognized these Marine Corps veterans as well as the 64th anniversary of the historic Battle of Iwo Jiima.
