Clearwater Audubon Society's March Events. Wednesday, 3/19, 8 am -Birdwatching trip to Sawgrass Lake County Park and Anderson Environmental Education Center. Contact:  Sid Crawford, 727-785-3960. Meet behind the interpretive center at the park. Clearwater Audubon is leading this walk and we hope to see Blackburnian warblers, water and shore birds, and songbirds in these lovely hardwood hammocks.  This is an easy 1 ½ mile walk on boardwalks and sand trails. Bring your binoculars! _________________________________________________________________________   Saturday, 3/21, 7:30 am - Birdwatching trip to Circle-B-Bar Ranch Contact:  Lynn Sumerson, 727-596-8822 and Mike MacDonald, 727-409-0459. Meet at Tri-City Mall in front of Party City. Clearwater Auddubon is leading this trip to see eagles, raptors, songbirds, water birds (resident White Pelicans) at a former cattle ranch on Lake Hancock shores.  This is a 3 ½ mile sand trail. Bring your binoculars!.  _________________________________________________________________________  Saturday, 3/28/09, 7:30 am - Birdwatching at Morris Bridge and Lettuce Lake. Contact:  Merle Hubbard, 727-939-1549. Meet at Tri-City Mall in front of Party City Clearwater Audubon is leading this trip to see migratory songbirds, raptors, and water birds.  Walk along ¾ mile of boardwalks and sand trails.  Lettuce Lake is about 2 miles.. Bring your binoculars!
