Cleveland Street Banners Celebrate the Return of Spring Training BaseballCLEARWATER. – The City of Clearwater has recently unveiled a series of banners hung from the lamp posts in the Cleveland Street District that celebrate the return of Spring Training Baseball and the city’s 62-year relationship with the Philadelphia Phillies. Baseball-themed designs from local artists Wil Dawson, Susi Galloway, Valerie Warner, Daniel Williams, Dan Vitale, and Dee Youmans-Miller were selected through a juried competition and will be on display until April 7. In addition to announcing the Spring Training season, the banners are an integral part of the Cleveland Street District Outdoor Art Gallery.
