Detectives Investigate Bank Robbery in Belleair BluffsBELLEAIR BLUFFS – Robbery/Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery at the Wachovia Bank located at 2515 West Bay Drive in Belleair Bluffs. Deputies responded to the robbery at about 10:21 a.m. on March 2. According to detectives the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and handed over a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, about 6’1” with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray pullover hoodie, dark pants, dark shoes, and a black and yellow knit cap. He has a full beard or a goatee.
