2nd Annual Harbor Bluffs Luminary Walk to Benefit ACSOn Saturday night, March 21st from 8:30-9:30 p.m., residents of Harbor Bluffs will participate in their second annual luminary walk to promote awareness of, and raise money for the Suncoast Area American Cancer Society. It will be a night of memories, celebration and hope as friends and neighbors walk paths in the community park lined with luminaries placed in memory of those lost to cancer, in celebration of those cured and in support of everyone battling the disease. Over 1500 luminaries were lit at last year’s event and more than $13,000 was donated. Free luminary bags are available for anyone who would like to personalize them in memory, honor or celebration of a loved one. The Suncoast American Cancer Society office offers more than 20 types of resources including support groups, information and referral services, smoking cessation and transportation programs.
