Tampa Bay Lightning cheerleaders Amanda, left, and Crystal lead a group of participants in the MS Walk at Largo Central Park on March 14. Over 200 persons took part in the event to promote awareness of multiple sclerosis, a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. The walkers completed three laps around the perimeter of the park.
Member of the Clearwater Amateur Radio Society are pictured with some of the participants in the MS Walk at Largo Central Park last weekend. From left, they are treasurer Eric Mitchell, Mike Pici, president Paul Toth and Paul Knupke. The organization provided communications services for the event. They and other members of the group will also be donating their time and services at another MS Walk which will take place at Lowrey Park Zoo in Tampa later this month.
