Bravura Brunch Honors Nelson Morrow and Bob ChandlerOn Saturday, March 14, at the North Suncoast Association of the Florida Orchestra fundraiser, Bravura Brunch, in the Heye Great Room of Ruth Eckerd Hall, Nelson Morrow and Bob Chandler were honored for their continuous support of the Florida Orchestra Chamber Concerts over many years. They were delighted to be so recognized. Following the lunch catered by Delectables Fine Catering, Kevin Johnson on piano and Karl Bowel playing viola, presented Fascinating Rhythm, a tribute to George Gershwin. They play such favorites ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’, ‘Clap yo Hands’, ‘Our Love is Here to Stay’ which George never heard because the words were produced after his death, and of course ’Fascinating Rhythm’ as well as other pieces.
