Aquatic Center Open for Spring Break

LARGO - The Aquatics Division of the City of Largo Recreation, Parks and Arts Department invites the public to spend part of their Spring Break enjoying the sprays and slides at the Highland Family Aquatic Center, 400 Highland Avenue across from Largo City Hall.

The Pinellas County School Board has scheduled Spring Break from March 30 – April 3. The facility will be open daily from 12 – 3 p.m. and is available to groups such as mom's clubs and out of school camps as well as individuals and family groups.

The aquatic center has an activity pool with zero depth entry, new double slide and three other children's slides, spray ground and water basketball. The multipurpose pool has two 3-story tower slides including a 214 foot corkscrew and speed slide as well as water volleyball. There is a minimum height restriction of 48 inches to utilize the tower slides that is enforced.

Other amenities include Splashes snack bar, family restroom, bath houses, umbrellas, deck chairs and lounges. Life jackets are available on a first come basis. No food or drinks will be allowed inside the facility.

Daily admission fees are $5 per person for Largo residents with a current recreation card, $6 per person for non-residents with a current recreation card or $8 per person without a Largo recreation card. Children ages 2 or younger can enter free.
