Marie Wemett and Phil Scott were the first couple to take to the dance floor at the 12th Annual Senior Fun Fest at the Harborview Center in Clearwater on March 18. That's Denise Looney singing at back, left. Admission was free to the event which featured live entertainment (including a "Bandstand Boogie" 1950s and 60s show), health screenings at no charge and a variety of exhibitors with information on senior services, health and wellness, Florida attractions, travel and more. Free coffee and doughnuts, bingo games, an Easter egg hunt and thousands of dollars in prizes and giveaways were other highlights.
