Topic: Habitat Restoration in the Americas and Natural History of Panama, Guatemala, and Nicaragua The speaker has worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 5 years mainly in ecological reforestation and restoration from Washington’s Olympic National Forest to the El Dorado National forest in Nevada through Central America, the Caribbean, and Brazil. He will share his experiences of the diverse natural treasures of these incredible forests. Along the way, he has worked restoring our Pacific salmon habitat in the Pacific Northwest as well as experiencing the natural wonders of Mexico through Central and South America. This is an easy ¾ mile trail and ideal for beginning and advanced birders. There are two large ponds, a stream, and a nature center which houses turtles and injured birds. 3-12 years: $1.85, 13 years and up: $2.79, (plus 7% tax).
