Winners and Sisters at Belleair Country Club Golf Tournament

Gerri Kelly, a member of Belleair Country Club Women’s Golf Association and her sister, Marge Riedel, from S. Fort Myers, won the Belleair Country Club Women’s Member Guest Tournament. This “Golf Til The Cows Come Home” event was held April 2nd and 3rd. Eighty women participated in ten flights with one round of skins and three-match play rounds. Gerri and Marge had to have a play-off with Mary Ehlers and her guest, Pat Takacs, chipping closest to the pin on Hole Number 18 on the east course. Gerri’s winning ball rolled closest to the pin. All 80 women standing on the sidelines screamed “Yeah Gerri and Marge”. Members had guests from as far away as Arizona, Tennessee, Minnesota and New Zealand. Chairing this “Cow Everything Event” was Yvonne Cahill and Gerri Kelly.
