Members of the Caladesi Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored the winners of the DAR's Junior American Citizens Contest at a luncheon at First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin. Receiving awards for taking first place in both chapter and state competition are (from left) Rachel Gleason, Sabina Zumerlin, Victoria Nunez, Dillion Timmreck and Sheree Thompson. All are ninth grade students at Dunedin Academy. Not pictured is David Munroe, who is in 11th grade. Topic for this year's contest was "America, Land of Opportunity". Particicpants could submit short stories, posters, banners or stamp designs.
