Kid's Fit Fest SlatedLARGO - Join the Heart of Largo on May 2nd in Largo Central Park for Kid's Fit Fest 2009. Community partners such as the Pinellas County Health Department, City of Largo, Pinellas County Schools, PTA, R'Club Child Care, Inc. and YMCA of the Suncoast have teamed up to help remind kids to eat smart and play hard. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include fitness and nutrition activities, live entertainment, and a kid's fitness challenge. The first 150 kids to complete the challenge will receive a Heart of Largo lunchbox stuffed with goodies. Bike helmet checks will be provided by Largo Fire Rescue. Don't miss this free event!
