
Learn to Recognize Human Trafficking, it Could be Happening Right Next DoorCLEARWATER – The Clearwater Police Department will present a Free Human Trafficking Presentation Tuesday, April 28th, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Murray Theater of Ruth Eckerd Hall (east entrance) 1111 McMullen Booth Road. Approximately 18,000 to 50,000 people are trafficked into the United States each year. Victims are smuggled into this country for the purpose of forced labor, domestic servitude or commercial sex operations. Florida is one of the top destinations in the country for human trafficking.
