Last Call for North Ward SchoolCLEARWATER – After 94 years of continuous service to children and families in Pinellas County from 1915 through 2009, North Ward Elementary School is being closed at the end of this school year. To give the community a last chance to see this historic institution operating in its present condition, an Open House will be held at the school on Saturday, April 25th, from 1 to 3 p.m. Tours of the buildings, performances by students and displays of photos and artifacts will be presented. Also, an interested group is making an effort to reproduce old photos and make them available to former North Ward students and their families.
