Palm Harbor Library Presents Word to the Wise Lecture - FibromyalgiaPALM HARBOR – As part of their ongoing “Word to the Wise Lecture Series,” the Palm Harbor Library will host a presentation on “Fibromyalgia” on two different dates -- Tuesday, April 28, at 6 p.m. and again on Wednesday, April 29, at 2 p.m. Dr. Amar Patel, a chiropractic specialist, will help participants understand the neurological and physiological causes of this baffling disease. He will discuss winning techniques that sufferers can use to help improve their performance and eliminate risk of injury. His lecture will emphasize chronic muscular pain, fatigue, and depression and their effects on the body. Participants will gain a better understanding of why they suffer from these symptoms and will be presented with non-drug solutions.
