Dr. Gary Mormino to Speak at Local Women’s Chapter of the Sons of ItalyCLEARWATER – Dr. Gary Mormino, USF Professor of History (Tampa campus) will be the guest speaker on Tuesday, April 28 at The Daughters of Italy Lodge #2825 (Clearwater chapter of the Order Sons of Italy in America - OSIA) meeting – in the Cenacle Room at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2281 State Road 580, Clearwater. Italian and non-Italian women are invited to attend; at 6 p.m. coffee and dessert will be served followed at 6:30 p.m. by a short general meeting and Dr. Mormino who will speak about the Italian community in Florida and in the Tampa Bay area.
