Clearwater Yacht Club to Host UPARC Fun DayClearwater Yacht Club (CYC) will host its 16th annual UPARC (Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens) Fun Day on Saturday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clients of UPARC are treated to a cookout, singing, dancing, swimming and boat rides. Last year CYC members contributed $10,000 to UPARC. UPARC is a non-profit community organization with an international reputation for providing the highest quality services to people who have developmental disabilities. They are a leader in providing innovative rehabilitative and residential services, giving more than 500 clients and their families an opportunity for a better life.
