E-mail sent to Largo Mayor and CommissionersWe agree with other citizens that "Largo needs to stop spending on luxuries". Please seriously consider the existing economy and do not undertake the expensive and unpopular Highland Avenue project. Let's curtail spending by not landscaping everything in Largo. It is expensive, costly to maintain, and in some places blocks the view of motorists. In Roosevelt Groves, oak trees have been planted close to sidewalks, which will be undermined as the trees mature and the roots expand. Times are tight; please tighten up on spending. - Bob and Martha Gibson, Largo
