Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Announces 2008-09 Grant RecipientsCLEARWATER - The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin, Inc., (JLCD) is proud to announce the winners of its 2008-09 Community Grants. Winners were selected from a field of applicants from local non-profit organizations that serve the foster care community in Pinellas and Pasco counties. The League had $5,000 in total to distribute for specific community projects. Winners received $1000 for each project and are listed below by agency name and the project the grant will apply to: YMCA of the Suncoast High Point Branch- “Foster Teens as Members”, Fostering Hope Florida, Inc.- “Life Book Supplies for Foster Children”, Clothes to Kids, Inc.- “Clothing and Shoes for Foster Children & Low-Income Families”, Suncoast Voices for Children Foundation, Inc.- “Little Things Make a Big Difference” and the Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco- “Imagine Me”.
