Give to U.S. Troops Serving in Middle EastCLEARWATER – American Legion Post 7, located at 1760 Turner St. in Clearwater, is taking donations of snacks food and toiletries for troops in the Middle East. Other locations accepting donations are in Madeira Beach: the Army Recruiting Office, 11223 78th Ave. N.; VFW Post 9272, 10997 Gulf Blvd; and Extra Space Storage, 4319 Duhme Road. Donations of money are also needed to cover shipping. Money orders or checks can be made out to Postmaster and mailed to P.O. Box 86223, Madeira Beach, FL 33738.
