Babysitter Training OfferedMorton Plant Mease Offers Class through Safe Sitters OrganizationBecome an informed and prepared babysitter. This course is designed to teach young sitters first aid including handling a choking child, contacting EMS, and safety tips. Ideas are presented on entertaining children and behavior management, along with many other babysitting tips and ideas. Students must be at least eleven years old to participate and will take home a Safe Sitter Manual with information about first aid, safety for the sitter, babysitting as a business, choking rescue methods and emergency phone number blank lists for each babysitting job. The class will be offered Saturday, May 30, 9-5 p.m., Morton Plant Hospital, Sarah Walker Women’s Center, 2nd Floor Classroom, 300 Pinellas Street, Clearwater. The cost to attend is $50.
