Leading Ladies of Ruth Eckerd Hall’s La Petite Posh Sales a Success
(l-r) Jenny Austin-Co-chair and Karen White-Chair for La Petite Posh Sale. Over 650 shoppers attended this one-day 7-hour sale. Twenty-four Leading Ladies volunteered for the day. Over 230 pairs of shoes, $570 in jewelry and all the ladies handbags sold that day. Almost all the men’s and ladies clothing was sold by the end of the day. Housewares sold out by 11 a.m. By noon there were 500 shoppers gathered inside and outside. Over $5,400 was raised for Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Children’s Educational Program in a five-county area. It was a wonderful day. Look for their next Posh Sale in 2011.
