Library Offers Workshops for Job Seekers

PALM HARBOR – Are you looking for a job, or would you like to polish up that outdated resume?  The Palm Harbor Library is offering a new series of workshops that may be of help.  The library will be conducting courses designed to help people with little computer knowledge learn how to apply for a job on-line. Starting June 3, they will offer instruction on how to improve and sharpen your resume so that it will stand out.  Dates are as follows:

Completing Online Job Applications (Wednesday July 1, at 3 p.m.)  Learn how to complete online job applications.  Participants should come prepared with suggested websites.  

Resume Writing (Wednesdays, June 3 OR August 5, at 3 p.m.)  Learn how to create a professional-looking resume that gets noticed!

Space size is limited to six participants, and basic computer skills are required.  Pre-registration will begin TWO weeks prior to each workshop date.  To register, call the library at 727/784-3332, Ext. 3004.
