City Players to Hold AuditionsCity Players, Inc. will hold auditions for their summer musical production “Once Upon a Mattress” Sunday, May 31, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 2, starting at 7 p.m. Auditions will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Clearwater. The first rehearsal is scheduled for June 5. This musical will be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18 and July 19 with a 2 p.m. matinee. It has been performed on Broadway and was received with acclaim and touched the heartstrings with much amusement and dazzling humor and comic relief.
