On May 16, IEYC members enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  They experienced The Dolphin Show. Myrtle Scharrer Betz's granddaughter, Terry Fortner, shared "Caladesi Memories", a talk accompanied by projected images of the authentic homestead photos.   Terry had just returned from West Palm Beach after being presented The Florida Preservation Award 2009 for M. S. Betz's Yesterday I Lived in Paradise: The Story of Caladesi Island.

The event was catered by Clear Sky Beach Side Cafe and the members and guests finished the evening with a viewing of "Winter - The Dolphin That Could."

Committee members include Jean and Scott Sanders, Joan and Bob Landreth, Dan Molino, and Commodore Fran Briskman.

A special thanks goes out to the staff of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
