Mike Alstott with Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue FirefightersMike Alstott to Receive AwardThe Indian Rocks Volunteer Firemen’s Association of Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue recently announced that football legend Mike Alstott will be the 2009 recipient of their “Commitment to Excellence in Leadership Award.” Alstott was chosen because of his outstanding work, not only during the years of his football career, but also in view of his role in caring for those in need through his philanthropic charity, the Mike Alstott Family Foundation. The gala dinner event honoring Mike Alstott will be held at the Holiday Inn Harbourside, Indian Rocks Beach, Friday evening October 9th. Seating is limited to 230 persons.
