Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Recruits New MembersCLEARWATER - The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin is recruiting new members, and will hold membership information sessions throughout the summer to promote the organization and its goals. The first session will be held on June 16, at 6 p.m., at the Clearwater Main Library. Sarah Miller, Membership Development Chair, comments “Every year we seek out a diverse group of women to join JLCD. Membership offers opportunity for leadership, education, direct impact on the community and friendship.” Women who are at least 21 years of age and who are interested in serving the communities of north Pinellas and Pasco Counties through volunteering are encouraged to attend. Topics covered will include the mission of JLCD as well as benefits and requirements of membership. Additional events will be held on July 29, August 4, 6, 11 and 18.
