Highland Avenue Corridor Special Area Plan Neighborhood Discussion SlatedA Special Area Plan (SAP) is a plan written to address the needs of specific neighborhoods, districts or corridors. A SAP is intended to give communities the opportunity to define the identity, function, organization, and character of their specific neighborhoods in accordance with the general planning framework provided by the City's Comprehensive Development Code. The Community Development Department is requesting public input for the Highland Avenue Corridor Special Area Plan. The City of Largo is considering a Special Area Plan in response to the needs of the citizens and business owners along the Highland Avenue Corridor. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the Neighborhood Discussion to provide their input on what they see as the strengths and weaknesses of the community as it exists today, and share ideas for future programs and development. This is the opportunity to give input on what would make Largo a better place to live, work and play. The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 17, at Largo City Hall, Community Room, 6 to 8 p.m.
