Junior Civitan Searching for Home Schooled Students to Form Youth Service Club

Junior Civitan, an International Service organization is looking for Home Schooled students who are at the 8th and higher grade levels. Interested students should be motivated, energetic, have leadership potential and be looking for leadership and service opportunities. They should also reside in North Pinellas County. Plans are to have the new club meet in the Clearwater/Dunedin/Palm Harbor area at a time and location to be decided later.

Junior Civitan's purpose is to provide all of their members with personal and career development opportunities while improving their community through service. Established in 1932, Junior Civitan is a program of Civitan International. Worldwide membership totals average 14,000 members in 400 clubs. There are Junior Civitan Clubs in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Their International website can be checked out at www.juniorcivitan.org.
