Park Closure e-mail to Largo Mayor and CommissionersPlease don't vote to close Bonner Park. It's such a wonderfully shaded park where the children can play freely. The boardwalk is a great way to learn about the intracoastal ecosystem. My children search for the different species of fish, birds and reptiles. The park is used by many and costs "chump change" in taxpayer dollars to maintain. It doesn't make sense to close a thriving park. Pinellas County has always stood out for great recreation sites. Having waterfront access given the overdevelopment of this area, gives something back to the taxpayers so that they too many enjoy the same views as the "privileged." - Trisha Patterson
