Progress Energy Requests Rate IncreasesThe PSC is holding hearings from July 7 to July 30 in various locations throughout Florida regarding the proposed utility rate increases by Progress Energy Florida (PEF). It is estimated that the increases would total $499 million per year in 2010. The meetings are an opportunity for you to speak out against the utility rate increases.
