E-mail sent to Largo Mayor and Commissioners - Planning BoardI firmly believe that the City of Largo should have a moratorium on any projects that will cost the taxpayers - this means the (Penny for Pinellas). It is all taxpayer's money no matter how you slice it. We are in a recession as you well know; so start acting like it. Wouldn't it be nice to hear that Largo is not going to spend any project monies for a year, and give back monies to the taxpayers? Let's face it. We, the taxpayers, are not spending on projects that we would normally spend if the economy was better. You should do the same. Seems like you are going ahead with projects like nothing is happening. Might be time to wake up and smell the roses. On the interest banks are paying out these days, where do you think we are getting our daily bread to survive on?
