
Silver Coffee Benefiting Children's Home Society of Florida to be HeldOn Friday, November 6, 2009, The 32nd Annual Silver Coffee, benefiting the Children's Home Society of Florida - (CHS), Gulf Coast Division will be held at the Belleair home of Joe and Ann Douglas. The event's theme "Moonlight Over the Quarter" will bring us on to the streets of the French Quarter to enjoy the delectable fare of New Orleans. The Silver Coffee Committee will also have their popular cookbook, No Small Feat, available for purchase. The Children's Home Society of Florida provides a full spectrum of prevention and intervention programs designed to protect children while preserving, strengthening and building families. Statewide, CHS provides services for more than 139,000 children and families annually, and the Gulf Coast division served close to 5,000 this past year. The Gulf Coast division is the 4th largest not-for-profit of 1,400 accredited in the US and Canada by the National Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children (COA).
