Luncheon To Feature Drawing for Hurricane Survival Baskets

Largo Community Center volunteer Barbara Skellie, left, and Adele Kolar, longtime member of the Largo Community Center Senior Advisory Board, display the "Hurricane Survival Kit" baskets that will be given away in a drawing at the "Long Hot Summer" Luncheon on August 20. The Craft 'N Chatter Knitting Circle has also contributed a handmade Afghan blanket for the affair. Tickets for the luncheon may be purchased in advance at the center, which is located at 65 Fourth St. NW. Cost is $10 per person. Tickets for the drawing are $1 each or 6 for $5.
