Registration Underway for Pee Wee and Little Sports Program for Young AthletesLARGO - Get your little athlete in the game with the Pee Wee Sports program. Largo athletics staff will introduce your three to five year old to track and field activities. Focusing on game skills and good sportsmanship, your child sharpens basic eye-hand coordination from a variety of track type events. Groups meet at Highland Complex August 1-22 at 9 a.m. and Southwest Complex August 6-27 at 6:15 p.m. Fees for the full program are $25 (residents) or $31.25 (non residents). Largo recreation card is required. Children ages six to seven are invited to continue practicing and improving sports skills with the Little Sports program. This program builds on the lessons of the Pee Wee program; however, attending the Pee Wee program is not a pre-requisite. Groups meet at Highland Complex August 3-24 at 6:30 p.m. Fees for the full 4-week session: $25 (residents) or $31.25 (non residents). Largo recreation card is required.
