Katie Cauthen, 7, and her mom, Roberta Cauthen, of Clearwater Beach are among the locals taking in the International Seashell Expo at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort on July 23. The show and sale, which featured beautiful and exotic shells and shell-related products displayed by shell collectors and dealers from all over the world, was part of The Conchologists of America annual convention. The public was invited to attend the expo. Lectures, symposiums, field trips, auctions, a banquet and other activities were on the agenda for members.
