Clearwater Ice Arena Offers Free Skating With a Food Donation to RCS Food Bank

CLEARWATER - The Clearwater Ice Arena will offer free admission for Ice Skating to anyone who brings in canned goods. This effort will benefit the RCS Food Bank, which is experiencing an urgent need of supplies. This offer will run through Sunday, August 16 during the Public Skating Sessions. Simply bring in canned goods or non-perishable food to the Clearwater Ice Arena August 10-16 and you will receive free admission into the Ice Arena during Public Skating Sessions.

"After I saw the news Saturday morning, I immediately knew we could help," said Michael Malki, Operations Director for the Clearwater Ice Arena. "Our figure skaters, hockey players and recreational ice skaters are very generous, so we know we will be able to help RCS."

Public Skate Session Times for Aug. 10-16: Mon.-Thurs. - (Adults) 10:45-11:45 a.m.; (All Skate) Noon-3 p.m. Friday - (Evening - Live DJ) 8-10:30 p.m. Saturday - (Afternoon) 12:15-2:15 p.m.; (Evening - Live DJ) 9-11:30 p.m. Sunday - 1:30-3:30 p.m.
