Do the Stingray Shuffle

CLEARWATER. - The Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department says stingrays are back in area waters.

Swimmers are cautioned to do the "Stingray Shuffle" when entering the water. Shuffling one's feet creates a disturbance that causes stingrays to move away.

If a sting does occur, see a beach lifeguard immediately for treatment.
