Football Great Mike Alstott to be Honored October 9th
Football legend and philanthropist Mike Alstott will be this year's honoree at a Gala Dinner being hosted by the Indian Rocks Volunteer Firemen's Association. Now in it's 8th year, the "Commitment to Excellence" gala seeks to celebrate the lives of Pinellas County residents who are making a big difference for our communities. Alstott was chosen because of his outstanding work, not only during the years of his football career, but also in view of his role in caring for those in need through his philanthropic charity, the Mike Alstott Family Foundation. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Harbourside, Indian Rocks Beach, Friday evening October 9th. Seating is limited to 230 persons.
