Repairs Underway on Belleair Beach CausewayWeekend Should Bring Return to Normal Water PressureBELLEAIR BEACH-Repair work is underway on the submerged 12-inch potable water main that was damaged on August 20 during construction on the Belleair Beach Causeway. The availability of special-order replacement parts prompted the delay. The line is tentatively scheduled to return to service and bring water pressure back to normal by Saturday afternoon, August 29. Customers in the affected areas are still being asked to conserve water; especially during the peak water consumption hours of 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Customers can maintain the best water pressure for their homes by reducing the number of their plumbing fixtures simultaneously in use. No boil water notices have been issued in regard to this event.
