Low-Cost and No-Cost Cat Spays and Neuters AvailableSuncoast Animal League still has appointments available on a weekly basis for low-cost only $30 or no-cost cat spays and neuters as provided for in the Florida Animal Friend Grant. Last day is September 5th. Owners must reside in Pinellas or Pasco county and provide proof of current rabies vaccine for their cats. Rabies vaccines will be available, if necessary, at a cost of $5. To schedule a cat neuter or spay surgery, call Suncoast Animal League at 727-786-1330 or stop by the League office at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave., Palm Harbor, to register in person during regular business hours, which are Wednesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. These low-cost surgeries are being subsidized by the Florida Animal Friend grant which Suncoast Animal League was awarded in August 2008.
